A native of Wichita, Kansas, Michael has lived in Texas since arriving as a university student. Married to Carolyn, they have a son and two daughters. Caleb is married and living in Houston. Rebekah and Rachel are students at Hardin-Simmons University. Carolyn is an elementary education teacher with Keller ISD.
While known best as a communicator, Michael also works in the area of Leadership Development. Working as a spiritual mentor and director he has affected both individuals and groups by helping them reach their maximum level of leadership potential.
Michael’s objective for REALministry is to assist churches and leaders in accomplishing their ministry goals in the areas of Relationships, Evangelism, Accountability and Leadership. With extensive experience as a Senior Pastor, Church Planter, and Student Minister; you will find him to be knowledgeable, refreshingly candid and a committed ministry partner focused on your success.

He believes that Jesus died for our sin and is the only way to know God. REALministry works with leaders and churches from a variety of denominations and non-denominational traditions.

A. Michael’s goal is to assist leaders and churches. He regularly speaks on a variety of topics outside the REALministry focus.

A. There are various Worship Leaders and tech professionals who work with the team. If you would like to consider some of these individuals for your event, a list of names will be provided. Various volunteers usually join the team for REALfestival events. REALministry is overseen by a Board of Directors.
